Easter

Just a couple exciting things happening around the Adkins house this week.

1. 4 years in the making - Dan finished his last class for his bachelor's today! Way to go love! I'm SO PROUD of you!! Official graduation is on Mother's Day.

2. Carly is officially crawling - up on all 4's. And can remarkably find any crayon or paper that is on the floor. She also loves veggie puffs and wagon wheels and after one day can get them to her mouth by herself. She likes to hoard them though so we'll have to make sure there's only one on her tray.

Sleeping Beauty Update

Well the nights of going to bed at 4:30 are over and she's back to her normal bedtime of 6pm. What a blissful life that girl has.

Medium

So this is how it went at dinner tonight.

Leah decided she wanted pizza, again. We just had it last night. But she really wanted pizza, so we made one on a torilla. She got to put her toppings on - sauce, cheese (lots of it), turkey pepperoni (again, lots) and yellow peppers.

Dan: Leah, do you want it hot or cold?
Leah: Medium.

Needless to say, we were laughing pretty hard. Leah didn't know what we were laughing at. I mean where in the world did she hear "medium" before. She's not ordering her own steaks....yet.

Sleeping Beauty

Did you know that Daylight Savings Time = sleeping 15 hours?? I'm not sure if it's a coinidence, a growth spurt, fighting off some bad germs, or what but for the last 2 nights and now possibly a 3rd night Carly has gone to bed at 4:30 pm and not gotten up till around 7:30 am the NEXT morning. She went down again at 4:30 again today so we'll see if it will be 3 days in a row. And she's still taking her morning and afternoon naps. Stay tuned for more info on the sleeping beauty...

Typical Carly

So I have finally managed to get the pictures off the digital camera from Leah's birthday. But while I was going through them I found this one of Carly and it is so typical for her - legs crossed and one sock off. I pulled her crib out the other day and found 4 single socks! No joke!
